Is anyone else having problems with the Yotes.com website? All I get when I click on is black boxes indicating articles, but no pictures, links to the articles etc. I don't think it's my laptop because everything else works just fine. Just curious; been like that for over a week now.

Just curious; been like that for over a week now. I've noticed a severe lag (things loading very slowly or not at all) the entire time they have had this new site design. I think it's been several months, but I could be wrong. I'm no expert on it at all, but I think the problem is either the site or the server it is hosted on? I was just annoyed at first, but thought it would be temporary, so I guess I just got used to it. It never got fixed. I'd either be embarrassed or pissed off (or both) if I was the Athletic Department. Shouldn't be that hard to fix in today's age of I.T., should it?

Yes yes, I've had the same problem for months. I thought it might just be my laptop (haven't tried the phone). I contacted the Sports Information Director via email about this but nothing changed. I guess they need more than the three of us before any changes are made. I seldom visit the site anymore but would hope things get fixed before fall sports start!

When I type that in, I get routed to a site about saving injured red foxes in the UK. But then again, maybe that is a big area of support among our fans and I just never got on board?

Official site of the USD athletic department. Lots of info, feature articles etc on there...at least when it accessible.

The official website of USD athletics is goyotes.com . It has loaded a little slower lately on my computer, but nothing too noticeable. I have had no problems accessing it on my iphone.

I'm a little late to the party here, but perhaps I can offer something that can help. We partner with SIDEARM, who serves as the host of our athletics web site. I passed this message strand to them and asked for help in forming a reply. Below are their suggestions, but without knowing the browser you are using or the operating system this is happening on, it's difficult to diagnose the issue. One thing we have learned is that SIDEARM no longer supports Internet Explorer, so if that's the browser you are using, it likely explains the issue. The site works best in Google Chrome or FireFox, but Safari is also a good option. SIDEARM general suggestions: -Clear your browsing cache and cookies (ctrl+shift+delete) -disable ad blocker in browser -make sure browser and operating system are updated to the latest version If this doesn't help you view our site, www.GoYotes.com, please reach out to me at bryan.boettcher@usd.edu. I likely won't have the fix for you, but if I can share your information with our folks at SIDEARM, I trust they will do what they can to help. Go Yotes!
