Men open the conference season with a very tough opponent in ORU. I my personal opinion they're probably the most talented team in the conference year in and year out, but until last season's sweet 16 run never really lived up to their potential in conference or Summit tourney play. They'll feature our old friend Max Abmas who is probably the league's top player. Too bad AJ isn't around to trade shots like they did last spring in what was one of the best games I've witnessed in a long time. 'Yotes are going to have to bring their A game tonight and a win would be a great way to start the conference season. Let's hope ORU is looking forward to their Christmas break more than focusing on the game.

I am a late scratch for the game tonight. DM me if you could use 4 tickets.

I've watched an oddly low amount of basketball this year, but conference play should awaken me. I get that ORU had a run late last year, but they don't seem to have done anything this year that stands out to me.
That being said, I think anyone is able to give us fits this year. The team seems to be improving a bit but not to where I had hoped they would be by now. A win over a sweet 16 team to kick off conference play might help get some more momentum though. Big opportunity here tonight.

ORU seems to be baiting the Yotes into a back-and-forth, take quick shots, ignore defense type of game. (Does anyone else remember when that was how every Summit League team played about 5 years ago?) That doesn't really play to the Yotes strength, but a 1 point game with around 12 to go.

ORU is going to give every team in the conference fits. Honestly, I think we played well enough to win a lot of ball games tonight. Tough to beat a team sitting over 50% from the floor.

Played a closer game than I probably expected. Lee can coach but we just don't have the offensive fire power to take out oral bob or the bunnies this year. Thought the guys performed well over all and Lee will max out their talents.
