I hope the SF Sports Authority is a big winner as well. That is a bump for bidding the next successful block of SLT. Sioux Falls is now home to the office of the Summit which might give a bit more fuel for the bids awards. It will take a monumental effort for another venue to win the bid AND put the rumps in the seats. By the way, I voted for the Jacks so do not blame CF!

Could be some nasty weather on Saturday! Hope that doesn’t affect things too badly.

Play defense, put out the effort, hoist the trophy. That's the recipe for the Yotes.

OK so how about some predictions. Put your money where your mouth is.
First round
SDSU over Denver 82-54 South Dakota over Western Illinois 76-55 Kansas City over NDSU 64-56 North Dakota over Oral Roberts 72-68
Second round
SDSU over North Dakota 68-54 South Dakota over Kansas City 73-65 but it is going to take a lot of effort and a second half comeback
Final
SDSU over South Dakota 71-63 - if the Coyotes don't come into this the significantly better team too many things tend to do wrong in this game. The Coyotes just won't have the energy in this one and I think Yote fans will end up upset with the officiating. Hannah gets in foul trouble as well.

I agree with UND over ORU in the first round. They have under-achieved in the last few games and are due for a win.
NDSU over KC because, … why not? Hamling with a big shooting night.
An all- Dakota semifinal goes chalk. SD teams up big at the half, but the margin narrows a little in the 4th as they try to rest starters.
Yotes win a close final with suffocating defense. Meyer’s absence is felt. Jacks turn the ball over 20 times, and the Yotes cash in.

This is why the big 3 came back. We have the experience and tournament-friendly playing style. State hasn't beaten us outside of Brookings in 3 years. A hotly contested final will turn into a 7-10 point victory as we hit free throws down the stretch. We will not be denied. Red State. Go Yotes.

These refs are really watching the off-ball jousting in the post. Surprising in tournament play.
