100% agree with you OBC. Whoever can control the line of scrimmage on both sides, wins this game. This game will be won in the air and who can create explosive opportunities in the pass game. Run it well enough to set up the passing game for USD and DO NOT let Bryce Oliver, their #1 WR, beat us in the passing game with explosive catches over and over again. If we have a running back clip close to 100 yards in this game and rush for over 150 total as a team, I'll bet my paycheck that we win this one.

I don't know who else checks in on the AGS board, but YSU fans are feeling pretty confident about Saturday. I can't wait to shut that arrogance down. Seems like the consensus is that the NDSU game was a fluke and our offense can't move the ball on a good team.

I was just looking at the seat map for ticket purchase, and trying to estimate the number or percent sold. I don't know how many will be in the band/student section, so I assumed 1/2 full there. Came up with 5,250 to 5,500 (57% to 60% full). I'll guess that there is a certain number of walk-ups, too. home games so far: St Thomas.....6126 (67%) Lamar...........5618 (62%) Murray State. 7907 (87%) I hope I'm wrong and we sell the thing out, but I'm thinking we will be closer to the St Thomas game than the Murray State game? We were 87% full for the Murray St game? I would never have guessed that. I was expecting a much bigger crowd than what I saw.

I'll assume those numbers are "sold tickets" rather than butts in seats that's pretty standard stuff for most schools. Also, the Student Section + Band is pretty variable. I could see them just calling the whole student section filled all the time, rather than counting heads? that would make a huge difference with the size of the student section. With the history of us calling a 7K stadium 10K... hard to say. I'm going by the new stated capacity of 9,100. At the end of the day, the number of sold tickets is only important for funding. The feel of the stadium means more for the players and the fans. How full does it feel? How loud and engaged the fans are makes a difference there, too. A BB or VB attendance of 1k or 2k feels like a great atmosphere in the SCSC when the fans are engaged, despite only being 25% to 33% of the 6k capacity. I feel like Yote fans will come out in droves for a winning program, but there is often a delayed reaction. In 2016 in the WNIT, the crowd increased exponentially each round, culminating in a full dome for the championship. With the huge win over the Bison, we should be seeing a sellout of football games, but it's slow to happen. Same with the SLT Coyote fans taking a few years to figure out we can actually be a factor in the Denny. It's frustrating, but it will happen IMO.

I see where as a team we're slow, vanilla and one dimensional on offense and won't be able to run on them while we won't be able to stop their omnipotent offense. I hope their team has the same attitude.

We can score on anyone that gave up 44 to UNI.

As long as we don't turn the ball over and have multiple 3 & outs on offense, I believe we can beat anyone in the country. We finally have the ability to control the LOS on both side of the ball.

Another week with a 'chip on the shoulder' is OK by me, as it will soon be a 'target on the back' which, of course, is OK with me also.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the AGS Board? Any Given Saturday. It's basically an all FCS forum.

Any Given Saturday. It's an FCS message board. Moderator does a good job and there can be good info on a lot of different teams if you happen to be interested in that sort of thing, but a few posters seem to dominate general conversations. USD has very little presence, although on rare occasions yote53 will post something. I think he's the only one. I read it, but am not registered, nor do I intend to be, so not able to post. Better to be thought an idiot than to open my mouth and remove all doubt.

I was on the board 9-10 years ago but left because of the sheer amount of arrogance. So little discussion, so much bashing others. I hope it has improved.

I read it occasionally and post there maybe once or twice a year anymore. That YSU vs USD thread is a wowzer. Was going to respond but why bother?
