I am so sick of the officiating at sdsu. So one-sided. Just awful. Officials basically suck .anymore

Refs taking a whole basket off the board minutes after the play seems like a dagger. Never seen anything like that before. I have not seen that either. They blew it dead on the goaltend so nobody really made a play for the rebound, but I don't know it it would have mattered if we had got the rebound. I guess we don't get the points or the ball. What would have happened if we had been in position to put the ball right back in? Same thing? Do they also do dead ball reviews on missed goal tending calls? I thought Kyle had a couple other blocks that were more of a goal tending than the one goal tending they reversed,

The seatings could be very important this year it could determine who gets to go to the NCAA tournament and I don’t mean by how your seated in the tournament. What I mean , if St. Thomas wins the tournament then conference champ would go to the tournament even if lost in the first round. I don’t know if this is going to happen but way this years going anybody could win this conference tournament. The difference in teams this year is very little it will come down who gets hot in the tournament and how various teams matchup on given night. I expect conference champ may end up with 10-6 record or for sure it could be anywhere between 11-5 and 9-7 even then other tie breakers may be needed to determine the conference champ.

Refs taking a whole basket off the board minutes after the play seems like a dagger. Never seen anything like that before. I still have never seen anything like this monstrosity, but I did just witness another goaltending reversal. Auburn playing Alabama. 3 minutes left in first half. Auburn goes for a layup, Alabama player (our old friend Grant Nelson) gets called for goaltending because the ball may have hit the glass before the block, and the officials immediately reviewed the play. They found that he blocked it before it hit the glass so there was no goaltending. The officials explained that because there was no goaltending, the offense will retain possession. I would love to hear the Summit explain this one. Are they right or are these SEC officials on national TV right? Seems to me that there is no way you can review goaltending minutes later if a reversal is supposed to result in the offense retaining possession.

Based on how the rule is written and how it's been explained, the only time they are to review it immediately is if there was also a foul on the shot attempt. I'm not sure why they stopped the game.

Also wanted to comment on something Peterson said...it was either pregame or at the coaches show. USD asked that the women's and men's games be held on different days on the weekend. SDSU refused. It only happened this past weekend when CBS stepped in and forced SDSU to hold the game on Sunday.
I've also heard separately that this has been a recurring problem over the years. USD has always wanted the games on separate days in order to highlight the game and make it better for both schools, fans, and players. One year AJ refused to move a game to Sunday because they had a game the following Wednesday. That's a legitimate reason, but now that these games are Thurs-Sat there really is no good reason to not do it.
