Thursday's win was really a must win. Peterson said it himself in the post-game. He also said they can't win four games in five days, so let's look at what they need to do here in the last three weeks get up to at least 7th in the standings.
They are at 3-7, one game behind Denver. So passing the Pios is likely a must, and then they need to pass at least one of the other 4-win teams in KC and NDSU. Is it possible a 5-win team collapses? Sure, but it's unlikely for the Yotes to pass one of those teams.
The home games against NDSU and KC are must-wins. If they are able to do that, it would give them the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Bison and enable them to win a three-way tie against those teams. They also are advised to find a way to win one of the two road games next weekend (Omaha, St. Thomas). Getting to 7-9 would put them in great position, though it will be quite tough for them to do that. Getting to 6-10 with wins over KC and NDSU gives them a shot. Health obviously is a factor, so hopefully they get good news on Stewart.

Well, not a great day for the Yotes. Denver won easily at home against St. Thomas. KC stifled UND in Grand Forks. UND scored 11 fewer points than they did in the 2nd half in the SCSC. So the Yotes are a game and a half behind four teams now.

A win at Omaha next Thursday would go a long way in avoiding the Friday play-in game at the SLT
