Seriously, you believe every post over on the SDSU board? You are a fool. I am likely a fool, but not because of any unfounded belief in what I read on the bunny board. I believe very little of what I read on that site and I only refer to comments made there when it serves my purpose. Also, one question - how many Jacks fans does it take to change a light bulb. Answer is 2, one to change the bulb & one to remind you they went D1 before the Yotes.

Hold on there Goyotes, you forgot about the Jacks it takes to do a feasibility study as to whether they should change the bulb, then they would have to form a committee to raise funds for the new bulb, then there is the Jack who would need to call the Argus about the story so it can be front page headlines in tommorrow's paper, oh, and the Jack who places the phone call to KELO for coverage of the event. In all fairness, I guess one Jack could handle both media calls. But in all seriousness we're talking about way more than 2 Jacks to change a light bulb. I'd say minimum 1 for media relations, 5 for the committee, 5 for the feasibility study discussion which would then be outsourced to Carr & Assoc, 1 to do the actual changing of the bulb, and 1 to proclaim they went D1 first during the bulb changing ceremony. You're talking minimum 13 Jacks for this project alone.
But then again, it's good to see a degree from SDSU will get you a job in janitorial services. You can go anywhere from there.

I also forgot to mention that Terry Vandrovec would need to be onhand to write an indepth Argus article including some reference to the light bulb changing procedures at rival NDSU.

Who can blame them though.....they have waited for over a hundred years to be the first in something!

You forgot about Stu Whitney. He would have to be there so he could add follow up questions about whether the new bulb was of the correct wattage and the proper type (incandescent vs. L.E.D., etc.) and whether light was really needed in the first place.

Not to mention that even tho the bunnies break the bulb and fall off the ladder, it is on front pages sports banner while USD builds better bulb that runs off air and never burns out and can't be broken but ends up on page 4.

Hey, Jacks fans, this dead coyote on the billboard was not an inside job. This was some redneck, hillbilly Jacks fan that put it up there. How do I know? Because for as much as SDSU fans "claim" to take the high road and say the rivalry doesn't mean anything, SDSU fans got riled up by a billboard. Yep, a funny billboard that SDSU fans find "offensive" even though it's a pretty good marketing idea. If the billboard was such a bad idea, why didn't SDSU put something up there ... Ever since that billboard went up, it was only a matter of time before this happen and it was not a shock that an SDSU fan did this.
SDSU fans always get mad when they did not think of something first basically, that way they can tell everyone they started it. An SDSU fan once told me throwing the rabbit onto the court is not cool because they started throwing coyotes onto the court. The "Beat State Not Your Wife" shirts were wrong, but it was okay for SDSU fans to throw carrots onto the court repeated to get USD technical fouls because refs thought it was USD fans?
Yep, stay classy Brookings, and maybe pull that stick out of your aXX every once in a while.

the more I think about it, the more I like the response. It's a college prank, that's all. Well played.
Not everyone in bunny land are sanctimonious Jacks.
its a rivalry. The 281 posts on the bunny board haven't convinced me otherwise.
Sit back and enjoy what's to come.

Yeah I knew something was going to happen, i just find it funny that now Jacks' fans say it was an inside job. Claim some ownership too it. Everything has to be USD's fault though, don't blame yourself. I am sure it was USD's fault that the football team hasn't had a winning record lately. They are just too focused on that billboard and next year's game.

A little angry? I laughed out loud at the 'crazy nutjob' comment. You're the admin here right? I must have missed the 'inside job' on the SDSU board. I'm sick of reading about that billboard. I'm sure it was some Brookings kid. I wish they wouldn't have done it but I figured something was going to happen eventually.

Yeah, I am the admin and this is also the smack board ... so deal with it. And yeah, I am a little angry when some people don't think their crap sticks, and that's usually people from SDSU, Iowa City, Notre Dame or fans of the Yankees.
