What a great college basketball game to watch. Louie is such a stud! Too bad that USD ended up 1 point short. Tonight was another example of why USD has to get better at shooting free throws. When you lose by one, all the missed free throws come back to haunt you. USD did shoot 75% but Texas State shot 80%. It was also clear tonight that Boots is not a DI level basketball player. He hurt USD more than he helped them. Nimrod was much better than him when he got in at the end. Anybody see what happened after the game between the USD players and an assistant from Texas State? I was putting on my coat and all I saw was that one of their assistants had Mabbutt by the shirt and was yelling something at him. Overall is was a very rough game and Texas State was a very unsportsmanlike team. It seems a lot of Texas schools are like that.

I wasn't so much concerned about free throws as I was USD's defense. Looked like the Yotes went man for a while, and that didnt work either. Texas State had way too many open 3's.
That last call, on the hand check on that Texas player driving to the hoop with 6 seconds left.....very VERY chippy. Weird thing to call, and you could tell by the USD bench's immediate reaction.
After the game stuff, I saw that USD redshirt Myles jawing face to face with the Texas State assistant. Didnt see Mabbutt, but I'm sure he was in there. Most of the USD coaches and players were walking off the court by that point, but Dirden (USD assistant) got into with them too, had a police escort to the locker room. Very heated.

It was a very interesting and chippy game to watch. The coyotes worked really hard and came back and made it an awesome ending. The foul at the end was pretty questionable. Hell of a game by Louie tonight! He has had a great senior year.
