hopefully there are some track n field guys on here, but seth was signed to run track at usd but is not listed on there roster or showing up in any of there meets so far. i also noticed several freshman who are competing(sp) so i don't think he redshirted but who knows. i was wondering if anyone knew if he was still at usd? btw, he was the 100 m. and 200 m. s.d. state champ. and a couple ofyears ago we had the state champ in the 100 from hartford i believe, can't remember his name but he never competed either. anyone know? and is there a link anywhere to see the results for the summit championships that aren't pdf? my computer is not pdf friendly:(

He's been running unattached this season, not at USD. Not sure what school though, still looking.

That's too bad. The kid could have done great things in the Summit.

Kerswell originally came in for football. Says a lot for Boomsma that he couldn't work with the coaches but Gotts and Huber were able to work with someone like Terry Liggins...I think they know what they are doing.

I wish Seth well at DSU. Sometimes things just don't work out.

I have good information supporting the above: Boomsma wouldn't listen to the coaches. Hard to believe because Gotts and his staff have proved time and time again they know what they're doing. [Dakota State has some talent on its track team, particularly in the sprints. We'll see of Boomsma improves.]

Well, it is Dakota State. Are they really going to tell Boomsma what's up or just let him do his thing because they are happy to have him there.

He had signed at the U before the State Meet ... then had great success at the State Meet and wanted more scholarship money than he had been offered.

Welcome to Division I track in South Dakota and how much money you get from it....that tells a lot about the kid's character right there.
