Heading down Friday for the annual trip. Looking forward to Stoneybrook UCLA game.
Any comments on Kent State making it?

I don't know what your feelings are, yoteforever, but personally I like to see as many "Northern Climate" teams involved as possible. And, as a USD fan I have a tendency to root for mid-major teams as well. So, I am glad Kent State is in.

Another topic we agree on yoteforever.
The only thing bad about LSU losing is there fans make Omaha one heck of a time. Bar none LSU, Texas, and Mississippi State have the best fans. Georgia is probably next in line.
I'm cheering for Stoneybrook. D3 to CWS in about ten years, that is impressive!

Although I'm now able to enjoy southern college baseball, I still like to see northern teams have success. I read at the start of the season that the Big 10 has considered playing baseball during the summer, which would involve opting out of the CWS. But when was the last time a Big 10 team was in the CWS anyway?
I, of course, would like to see Florida State finally win one for Mike Martin. Go Noles!
