The new facility in Sioux Falls will be opening this Fall. Did anyone else hear that Wisconsin is playing St. Johns there on November 8th? I just found this out, and am seriously confused.

One of the coaches of the teams has some connection to Sioux Falls or something.
You know the cry will go out now that if those two schools will play in Sioux Falls than State/U should play there every year.
In other news, we are building our own arena. I see no reason to play our home games anywhere else but our new digs.

Joe Krabbenhoft was an assistant coach at Wisconsin at the time this game was agreed to by Wisconsin. It will be broadcast on ESPN and is considered a home game for Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee bucks are also scheduled to play an exhibition game there. A great chance to see Nate play as a pro. The game was scheduled before he was drafted.

I think it's very cool that Sioux Falls is hosting the game, it just made no sense to me. Maybe the new arena can host a special game every year to kick off the season. The Milwaukee bucks are also scheduled to play an exhibition game there. A great chance to see Nate play as a pro. The game was scheduled before he was drafted. Is it sure he will be on the roster, or on their D-League affiliate? Would be pretty cool for him to be back in the familiar place as a pro I'm sure.

Hopefully he will also be getting some minutes during the season as well.

You know the cry will go out now that if those two schools will play in Sioux Falls than State/U should play there every year. When news of the game was first announced several months ago, it was reported in the media that the organizers (Sanford) tried to line up an out-of-state opponent for SDSU but teams contacted thought it would be too much like a home game for the Jacks so...no interest. I'll try to find a link. The game announcement is pretty old news...from May 13, 2013...here's link to the story KELO TV ran: www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/timberwolves-wisconsin-to-play-at-pentagon-this-year/?id=148017Stu Whitney tweeted: South Dakota State was considered for Pentagon game, but several major-college opponents considered it home game for the Jacks and passed. The Whitney tweet cannot be linked but the original link and quote can be found at the 6th post here: sdsufans.com/board/showthread.php?12871-wisconsin-and-st-johns-to-play-at-the-pentagonStu also tweeted on May 13: Sanford officials say Wisconsin-St. John's not one-time deal. They will try to do one of these games a year, possibly involving SDSU or USD.

Coyote women to play Drake in the Pentagon in November as the Dome will still be set up for football.(Another reason for needing the new arena)

So I'm pretty sure we will see him at the pentagon.

It was fun to be at the Pentagon last night and see Nate play. 10 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 20 minutes of time. He got extra playing time and the start because South Dakota is is second home. But he looked comfortable and capable on the floor.

I have heard before the game that comfortable and capable on the floor were two things that didn't describe him. He has a lot of work to do and it's a good thing the Bucks got Ridnour. I think Nate can play in the league, but not every team will be IPFW for him unfortunately.

Nate played almost 30 minutes tonight and scored 9 points with 4 assists, a steal, a rebound and a blocked shot in Milwaukee's season opener. Not a bad start for his NBA career.

That is a very good debut. I'm surprised to hear he much time, let alone 30 minutes.
Anyone check out the Pentagon yet? I'm planning on seeing our women play against Drake on the 21st up there.
