Two losing seasons in twenty five years does not equal a program that needs turning around. Sorry your last comment was il thought out OK let me rephrase "it took a Jackrabbit for USD to find success a the D-1 level"
You might as well just start spouting out the whole "we went D-1 first!" because that's all you're going to have soon.
If you start having success in basketball we'll retire the "we went D-1 first" line and start using "well, it took a Jackrabbit to turn their program around" line.

Really is backwards to have any games at all at noon on a Monday, then the championship at one on Tuesday. The only people I see this working well for are the students on spring break, and the unemployed. The Summit isn't even catering to some schedule ESPN has demanded either, the championship game isn't going to be broadcast on any of the ESPN stations like has been done in the past several years. I can't understand at all why they selected the dates they did. Also makes it harder for any visiting fans to attend when you nonsensically put it in the beginning of the week. Women's championship game will be on ESPN U at 1 pm Tuesday, and Men's championship game will be on ESPN 2 at 8 pm.

Is winning the Summit League baseball title really an accomplishment? Well it's something the yotes will never do.

Bottom line, and this is what I am getting at, look at the demographics of the SDSU fanbase and the USD fanbase. USD puts out mainly professionals who work in offices. SDSU puts out a lot of people with ag degrees. Not too much planting going on in early March. Just saying. Alot of SDSU fans have time on their hands this time of year. Yote 53's second paragraph pretty much describes me perfectly, hell I won't even buy any bred heifers if they are due before the SLT(LOL). This past winter I sat down with my banker( an SDSU grad btw) and updated my balance sheet. Turns out that even a small operation such as mine has a net worth well in excess of seven figures, and with both SDSU's men and women dancin this spring life is good.
