All we can do is speculate about the "missing years" of the State/U rivalry, but it seems that the Coaches polls for most of last year provided an objective look at who the better team was. As for 2012, the Coyotes have some questions to answer, and I stated that middle of the conference, 6-5 is POSSIBLE, and would be a good year. With this schedule and the unknowns, I'm not sure their are any safe wins.........except for the dinner date

There will be a lot to sort out before we know the real character of the 2012 Coyotes, but State wouldn't have been able to beat us last year and they finished in the middle of the pack in MVFC, I think that's a reasonable starting point. I think 6-5 is possible in a difficult schedule, and would be a great start to the dominance that will be coming!

I agree with David Sayler when he said, "I Think we're getting to the point where the catch-up mode can stop." (Stu Whiyney Argus Leader article, Feb. 10, 2012)
The perspective for me from this game is, by beating State this first year, the message has been sent:
We can beat you ANY year, and we can beat you EVERY year!!!

Congrats to the Yotes! Especially to Boots, that weave offense was perfect and the match zone (that the Rabbits knew so well, was very effective). I know the Rabbits shot poorly, however, they had no flow in the game until late 2nd half, mostly due to the defense. They were basically outcoached tonight Big Time!
Go Yotes!
And the beat down in football (2012) will be no UPSET, like tonight's game was!
Go Yotes!!

Tom Compton invited to NFL Combine! That's impressive. Wish him well and should be a nice tool for recruiting OL.

Just read the post re:RPI scores, I guess my "upper half" assessment is conservative...GO YOTES!

I watched the 2nd half on-line, they missed a lot of 3's when they were down by 5 or 7. Tough team to go cold against, down the stretch. As this first year in the Summit is a "measuring stick", I'd say the Women's BB is measuring up to "upper half" IMHO. The Men's BB on the other hand....
