Not pretty, but a win is a win. Hard to believe we had 350 yards of offense. At least our defense didn’t allow a TD.

10/28 shouldn’t even be on our radar right now. Just go handle business and come home. One week at a time.

But no doctors, lawyers, business grads (except ag), either. Give us all a break dude. And I’m a Yote fan.

Offense got rolling and defense stood their ground the entire game. Don’t look now, but unranked Youngstown just put the hurt on no. 5 SIU. Penguins at home next week. Put your armor on. Classic MVFC battle upcoming.

Murray State cannot be overlooked. We need to come out and dominate all phases of the game from the beginning. Best week of the year. Go Yotes!

Another 3-8 season coming. Contract extension. So bad Good grief. Missouri has been picked by some to be a dark horse candidate to win the SEC.

David Sayler. Herbster was one of his Associates. Sayler left USD for Miami Ohio.

Herbster has been a transformational piece of the University. What i appreciate about him is that he has been an excellent AD, but an even better person. Got to know and work with him as a student and always noticed how he treats everyone the same. Best wishes to him in his future endeavors.
Bob, too, is an excellent person. I have generally supported him as a coach. There is a history of him moving up from HC to AD at Duluth, which I’m sure the previous users picked up on earlier. That said, I would prefer a fresh face for the AD. Someone who can bring new ideas, connections, strategies, etc. I feel like we have really improved our athletics in some areas, all while becoming very stagnant in others.

Grateful for Camp’s contributions as a starter and our playoff run, but I trust the coaching staffs move.

I don’t know anything about the reasons for the firing, just the repercussions. Violations ?

In the past two head coaching searches, Herbster has said that he needs someone who has been a head coach before, even if it was last at Mayville State or Kentucky Wesleyan. Ryan Miller has never been one. It's crazy to me that he is still coming up in these conversations. We already skipped on him twice and no one else went after him either. Weird to see Billeter come up again too. Shouldn't he be focused on going D1? (lol). It's like I've travelled 8 years back in time. I think it's important to have someone with D1 experience. McCollum has an astoundingly good record at NW Mo State, but zero D1 experience. I'm pretty confused why these head coaches at lower levels who haven't excelled are even brought up. 9 years at Upper Iowa and the best you've finished is third? Alright...here's the keys. Lansing spent forever at Indiana State, which is not all that different than our level, and never broke through. Ties to the university aren't that important. Saul Phillips put together one of the best Summit teams I can recall, but I'm not so sure about the 8 years that have followed. Kemp, Blount, and Krabbenhoft have never been head coaches. I'm going with either Peterson or Wicks from that list. But who actually knows? I'm betting on the field if the last search is any indication. This list seemed like a challenge to find as many guys with local ties as possible rather than explore realistic candidates. Well said! I’m also fascinated that the same names keep coming each time 🤣
