My jaw hit the ground. It really did. I had heard some speculation, but waved it off as ridiculous. This is amazing news for the Summit League.

Extremely excited to have OBob back. They usually have very good mens and womens basketball teams. Not terribly hard to fathom their return when you take a glance at the Southland conference members and attendance data from the past few seasons. UMKC to follow? the WAC is in shambles.

I agree getting ORU back is a good move for the conference (and ORU). I don't see UMKC following and I wonder if they'd be welcome. UMKC is a nice geographical fit but they otherwise seem to have trouble fitting in and competing. The WAC's demise continues to stun me but it seems its days are numbered.

I would rather have UALR and NKU before UMKC. Also, if the FCS playoff selections were any indication on how things will be going forward I really want the MVFC to expand to 12 teams or more. The new SRS used by the committee doesn't appear to be anything more than number of wins with zero regard to SOS. (despite what they say).

Good for Oral Roberts as they have come to see the light again. Hopefully another school will join soon to get the league back up to 10 again. Now hopefully AR-Little Rock, UNC and UND all join and the Summit can get to 12 teams which I think is ideal with how tough non conference scheduling is.
