I don't think we'll miss her in this one, Denver has looked terrible this year. I hope she can be back in time for our next one against IUPUI.

Denver's record wasn't that good but they've lost a lot of close games to very good teams. Just shows that in the Summit or anywhere you need to be ready to play every game. That's why polls, records, etc don't determine actual results.

Surprised Nicole played, pleasantly surprised, but yikes, what happened? Maybe Denver can make a little noise in the Summit after all.

That's a bad loss. Goes to show playing on the road anywhere is tough.

That's a bad loss. Goes to show playing on the road anywhere is tough. This one was just the Yotes throwing up a stinker. Giving up 91 to a 2-13 team in front of a whopping 315 fans is not a good opener. Granted Denver has played all DI teams and several from bigger conferences so there's that at least. On to the next one! Go Yotes.

Denver is good.
Looking at their schedule they lost to PAC 12 UTAH, 11-3 Wyoming, beat Air Force, and Illinois State, lost to really good Colorado State, and Top 25 Colorado, lost to Marquette, and Long Beach State two other really good teams....as well as really good Montana State, and Montana, Northern Colorado, and Irvine a team who beat us. Most of their losses were to over .500 teams...actually one was not...and 7 of their 13 teams they lost too lead their conference.
Amy Williams said they would be tough and they were.
Hopefully we bounce back and beat IUPUI on Thursday.
Go Yotes!

I wouldn't be wringing my hands too much over this loss, Denver is a good team, and they shot the ball very well. I think the guard was 6-9 from 3 pt. land, and did I hear they were 60% from the field in 2nd half? I give our Yotes credit that they were down by 11, on the road and took a lead at the Halfway mark of the 2nd half. They got behind again by either 7 or 9 and cut it to 1 by the 5 minute mark, all while the opposition was shooting lights out. Denver is going to make some noise in the Summit, I doubt they'll go 0-4 against IUPUI and SDSU, so just tip your hat to the Pioneers, and we'll have a little something extra for them in their trip to the Dome!
