1) Power rankings from what? Your own power rankings?
2) IUPUI did upset SDSU, not "after almost upsetting SDSU"
3) Look at the league standings, IUPUI is the obvious No. 2....USD is still, what, 3.5 games back of the Jags. We'll see how IUPUI and USD finish out the regular season.

I would also say that SDSU has to win the league tournament to make the NCAA as does everyone else in the Summit. But i would say that SDSU is lock for the NIT regardless if they don't win the regular season title (total collapse if they don't win it) because of their RPI of 47 and wins over #15 Penn State, Central Michigan, and Green Bay and only 1 "bad" loss to IUPUI. USD is looking like a dangerous team like last year around tourney time. Hoping for another SDSUvsUSD tittle game this year!

Agreed. That's exactly why SDSU schedules such a tough non-con season, chance to boost your RPI before you get into conference (where you're really not going to pick up 'key' wins like that)

Agreed. That's exactly why SDSU schedules such a tough non-con season, chance to boost your RPI before you get into conference (where you're really not going to pick up 'key' wins like that) What helps too is that as they've sustained success and earned respect, good teams will come play them. A ranked team played in Brookings this year (top 10 rpi right now). In the past any and every win against top 50 rpi teams would have absolutely been on the road and very difficult to obtain, but now it's not impossible to host some of these teams. I feel that our girls are well on their way down that path too, but need several more years of success before we could be hosting teams from the Big Ten or Big East.

Absolutely agree, 12345678, USD will ultimately get close to that level....winning multiple league titles and success against top-end schools will help draw in the big names.
