A big congratulations to the Men's track & field team on their performance this weekend at the SL championships. We also had seven Yotes grab individual titles. The women finished 2nd in team standings. It was a great weekend for our student athletes and a great weekend to be a Coyote. Go Yotes! www.goyotes.com/sports/c-track/indoorchampionships.html

I've been following the results of this meet since Friday. Was happy the Coyote T&F teams represented The University of South Dakota so well yesterday. Way to go student athletes and coaching staffs on a great performance! You guys are the model of how Division 1 track and field should be done.

Congrats T and F. Great Job. Saw Lucky at the game today, he seemed like in a pretty good mood! He deserved it.

I can't remember which thread it was stated that the Argus did a good job of covering USD athletics, but I would challenge anybody to see how much press was given to the T & F team's championship. I understand that this isn't a "revenue" sport, but I think the Argus could do a little bit better than what they had in the paper today.

Congratulations Gotts, Lucky and athletes! Another tremendous performance at SL Championships.
It is a shame that this level of accomplishment gets so little attention by sports fans and the sports media in general.

who cares what the Argus does? The T&F meet came on the SDSU v USD weekend (plus NSIC), it wasnt going to get much ink. just the way it is.

Summit League Champs! Great job by Coach Gotts and the gang putting together an "all around" team. No matter where you looked there were Yotes competing for points! I too was disappointed in the coverage. Who cares about the coverage? Track and field fans should care. These athletes are the best at what they do in the Summit League... I think more coverage would be entertaining and informative to all track fans and SD fans. So many champions on the team, a few short interviews about their accomplishments and insight on what it took to be "the best" would be fun to read... at least I think so.
