We swept state for the second year in a row. This softball program is probably one of the most successful programs mens and womens at USD. These girls deserve a lot more credit. And its a young team too

USD plays UND tomorrow. Two easy wins. But you never know.

The softball team is playing great, but beating the Bunnies is to be expected. Including the sweep by the Yotes, the Bunnies have lost their last 15 conference games and 9 of the 15 games have ended early due to the run rule.

Curious to see how USD fares against the 'top end' pitchers for NDSU, Fort Wayne, etc. come tournament time. All I can say is, I'm glad Omaha is not eligible yet. They've got some legit talent.

I'm worried that SDSU's softball team is, relatively speaking, on par with NDSU's women's basketball.

USD finishes the regular season with a 3 game home series vs. NDSU. This is a HUGE chance to win the conference and the girls know that.

Rough ending to the season, but I know these girls have learned from their mistakes. Looking for a big first round win over SDSU today! GO YOTES!

If you haven't heard yet, the softball game today has been moved up an hour because of potential rain/weather. It now starts at 2pm instead of 3pm.

Yotes up 3-0 going to the bottom of the 4th. SDSU is not going to like facing Rachel Cue the next three years. She has thrown 14 innings against the Jacks so far this year, giving up no runs and just five hits.

We went 0-2 in the tournament last year, so this was our first win in the Summit Tourney.
We play Fort Wayne tomorrow morning at 10. We split with Fort Wayne on the road this year, winning 5-2 and losing 5-1.
Should we lose, we'd play the loser of NDSU-IUPUI at 5:30.
