Tom played Sunday in Atlanta's divisional win over Seattle, throwing a good block on a touchdown and also as backup LOT blocking on all Atlanta's PATs and FGs. Will pocket an extra $27,000 for the win.

I see that Tyler Starr is still listed on the Falcons injured reserve roster. For some reason I thought he was out of Atlanta but its good to see him still with the team.

I don't believe he's with the Falcons anymore even though listed on their injured reserve. A Google search shows that he, Johnny Manziel, Ray Rice (to name a few) will part of a Spring League in April with 4 non NFL affiliated teams doing 6 games. Some NFL scouts will attend. Is in West Virginia and teams will practice and play in one location there. So basically for players (including former NFLers) that want to show case their skills.

Tom is now a Chicago Bear signing as a free agent from Atlanta. Best of luck Tom in the windy city!! Speaking of pro football I just discovered a great PF player, teams, stats site: pro-football-reference.com It has all the pro info you can imagine. For example if you search Tom Compton it'll show all his info. If you click on his South Dakota link it will list all Coyotes with NFL/AFL pro histories and can select each one, etc. Amazing site!! |

Went to the Bears pre-season game last night and Tom Comptom started at right guard and played right tackle as well. He played the entire first half.

Tom got his 4th start yesterday with the Bears at ROG and was playing well until he left the game in the middle of the 3rd Q with an injury. Hopefully not too serious. He did ride off on a cart. The next play his replacement gave up a sack and the a QB pressure two plays after that.

The NFL reports that Tom had a concussion in Sunday's game. Hopefully he'll be fine Sunday's game.

I know we're talking football but this kind of really came out of left field... talking a player concussion to dome dogs in the blink of an eye. Ya... dome dogs would be great to add but....I guess we're all dogs at heart! |

They mispelled concussion as concession. That's where hot dogs came from.
