Anyone have any information on the Dline injuries? It was supposed to be a pretty strong group this year, however, the game notes for this week look like three true freshman are in the two deep. What happened to Jacobs, Praska, Ruiz, and Maag? I have heard various rumors, but nothing solid. Will any of them be back soon? 4 starters/backups from our 3 man d-line missing is a major issue. I am more concerned with this than the QB issue. I am sure the 3 true freshman will be good in time, however, none have the size or experience to be truly effective over the course of this season's brutal schedule.

Praska has been having chronic back pain since last season. Not sure how they are dealing with it. Jacobs was very sick a couple weeks ago. I believe a temp of 104 and spent some time at the hospital in Sioux Falls. I'm thinking he will play this season, just don't want to rush him back yet. Maag got a "hip pointer" early on in the Oregon game according to Joe Glenn on Coyote Corner last night. Not sure what the story is with Ruiz.

Joe Glenn was at the Yankton Qback meeting today and reported that Jacobs was cleared to play this week. I would agree with fightsd that they probably need him to regain conditioning. As noted, Praska has a chronic back problem and will remain iffy.

Glenn is very high on Aaron Ramsey, #80, converted QB to TE, RS Fr, 6'3", 230. Great hands, athletic and 4/6 fast. Also very pleased to have the speed of Jasper Sanders and Eric "Munchy" Shufford Jr on the field for running, receiving, and returns.

Thanks for the updates. Jacobs should be able to get some reps this week and begin getting into game shape. Hopefully Maag is better quickly and Praska becomes available at some point.

Very curious as to what is going on with Ruiz?
