Not sure I really agree with Jeremy here. If we finish out the season with results like we've seen so far in conference play, I'd definitely say the sky is falling. This team, by all accounts, is supposed to be better than last year. Yet we look to be right back in 2012. That is absolutely cause for major concern. I completely agree that we do not fire Joe Glenn. We however can not keep the same support staff. Glenn is at a loss for words when explaining why this team isn't being competitive. That is quite the alarm. He knows a good group of players when he sees one, and he absolutely sees such a group here. But the staff seems to have lost these kids. Earl seemed to regress from the UNI game, the O-line has regressed badly since our opener, the secondary is leaving guys wide open deep downfield, and we have gotten like one sack all year (can't say that's because we don't have Starr). Oh yeah, can't forget our atrocious special teams play outside of Bergner's FG kicking. It seems like these kids have given up, but you really have to ask why? Clearly abou everything fell apart in the second half of the SIU game, and I don't get why. We were coming off a win against NAU, we're tied with SIU at halftime despite not playing our best football, but ever since halftime of that game we have looked almost lifeless. That loss against UNI hurt because our guys clearly were capable of handling them, but made no plays to make it happen. Then we get a Missouri State team who didn't seem daunting at all, ended up losing by more than a couple TDs. Just what in the heck is going on here?

Coach Glenn has done a great job for the program. He has brought us in good recruits to this school. The problem with the team is the offense. The offense lack of possesion and Fire power to score his killing the team and the defense. There is only one person to blame and that is Wesley Beschroner. He was a great player for USD when he played but he is the reason why the offense struggles. He needs to go, and their needs to be a new OC.

If Wes could call a game week in and week out like he did in the Minnesota game a few years back, I would be happy with that. Haven't seen much of that since.

While I think there are some assistant coaching issues as some have identified, it doesn't explain the lack of desire, discipline, and effort put in by the players. That is just not acceptable at any level. I'm afraid some errors have been recruiting some undisciplined players who simply seem to care less. Really disappointing.

Well the Yotes are now just a few hours away from finishing 0-8 in the Valley 2 out of the last 3 years and both on Joe Glenn's watch. No outside wins since the beginning of 2009 against Minnesota. These are absolutely embarrassing stats. No coach should survive the numbers that are being put forth by this football program. Hopefull Glenn will have coached his last game after that against SDSU.

Oh coyotefan, you must be listening to the pregame show on the radio. I figured you would be sitting in your blue gear in the main grandstands at CAS. Give it a rest. No one wants to listen to your crap. I am surprised you haven't started a new "fire Joe Glenn" thread on here since it's the last game and you figure you bring up this sh!t on here so the administration will read it and fire Glenn like they did when you b!tched about Meierkort. I've got news for you, they didn't fire him because you started a thread about it on the message board and they won't fire Glenn because of it either.

You may not like my comments but they are relevant and quite embarrassing to say the least. It's time to clean house unless we want another losing season next year and future years as well. If the right decisions are not made by administration we could be looking at multiple years into the future of the same kind of results we are seeing presently. Glenn is not getting it done and will never get it done. He is burnt out.

31-0 deficit at half against SDSU just re-enforces the notion of how badly this program needs a change. How can this really even be debated at this point in time.

Has anyone been around Herbster enough to know what he is thinking and how he is leaning as far as whether or not Glenn will get another year. Maybe he is keeping things hush hush who knows.

Evaluate the entire program! Quit knit picking Wesley! There's more to it than that!

Although coyotefan goes about his posts with both barrels I do agree with some of what he brings up. I am not happy with the product that is on the field. There may be wonderful changes to the program that the average fan would never see or pick up on - and that's great. However, what I've seen this season is disappointing at best. Our competitiveness this season just hasn't been there. That's all - no solutions or finger pointing, just dissatisfaction.

I'm hesitant to post this in this thread because the subject line somewhat implies a coaching change is needed. Regardless....
I'm guessing I fall into a statistically relevant category of Coyote Fan (pun). This program is in real danger of losing this category of fans for next year. I've got 3 season tickets and a HP membership. Being in the SF area, it's a fairly significant commitment each Saturday to make the drive down, possibly tailgate, watch the 3-4 hour game, and then make the drive back. With two young kiddos, there's often times a conflict with their activities also. Last year at 4-8, 3-3 at home, it was a somewhat decent product on the field (particularly at home) and I was willing to commit the time and money to the program. This year it was increasingly difficult to make that commitment as we slogged our way through an 8 game losing streak.
The season tickets are $300+ and the HP membership is $100. By no means a wallet-buster, but at some point you have to expect a return on your investment- both money and time.
I am still proud and amazed at the attendance in the dome this year as the season progressed. I'll likely go for the season tix next year also, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of us that are on the fence start dropping out next year for the reasons stated above.
As for the coaching..... I'm not an expert. You often hear the "3 year" rule thrown out there for head coaches at the college and/or pro level. Because of JG's record of clearly knowing how to win and the somewhat unprecedented task of jumping into far and away the best conference (5 playoff teams?!?!), I'm willing to add one more year, which puts me in the "one more season for Joe" camp.
And above all, GO YOTES!
