Not to be the bearer of bad news, but multiple sources on twitter are reporting Milo Hall committed to Colorado State today. Can't blame him for that. FBS offer in his home state. Good for him.

I figured he would get a late offer elsewhere, and I can't blame him either. Good luck to him in the future.

Nate Gunn and Marquiz Simpkins are pretty good running back pickups as well. I am sure one or two of these backs might be used at other positions. Don't forgot Michael Frederick, who was previously slated to play at UAB, before they killed their program. Offers: sports.yahoo.com/uab/football/recruiting/player-Michael-Fredrick-156792It is clear that the staff knew we needed some difference makers if we were going to take a step forward.

I feel like people continue to speculate about an eligibility issue for Strong, but I have not heard or seen anything substantive to back this theory (other than some mentality based on a lack of FBS offers). To those that would be "in the know," can you please site us to an article or indicate that you you have a valid source (I am NOT asking you to reveal or name the source, however). I thought that back when he committed there were articles that quoted his coach saying something to the effect of "don't worry, he will be fine to qualify." I could be WAY off here, however. Coaches often make statements like this in order to be supportive. From what I have heard from people in the football program is that Strong's issue is his ACT. His grades are sufficient, not great, but his ACT score is too low. However, he does have a learning disability and is able and planning on retaking his ACT with a tutor.

Mick indicates he's considered to be a great tackler and led his Vero Beach team in tackles the last 3 years.
