Just thought I'd send the link for the Calling All Coyotes function. This year should be bigger and better than last year and the staff is anticipating that the tables/tickets will sell out. You are able to purchase sponsorships, tables, and/or individual sponsorships on the page. myab.co/events/yr/#page

I see that this event is sold out. There are limited seats available according to the email that was sent out today, so give Chris or Erica a call if you haven't got your tickets yet.

Looking over the items for auction I can't help but notice a trip to see the MBB take on Minnesota on December 5th. Lots of cool stuff up for auction.

People,
Last night was incredible. I might be wrong, but to my thinking, last night we turned the corner as to how the fan base needs to get involved. Raising over $270,000 is awesome, but what was even greater, was the distribution of how those funds were raised. And I truly believe as good as last night was, that next year will even be better. For the first time I am starting to think and feel like more and more people are getting it. They didn't sit on their hands, they raised them to bid. And they were having fun doing it.
The when we got to fund a need, although I would have liked to see more than one person go over the minimum, I was hugely impressed with just how many people raised their hands to donate an extra $1000 without getting anything in return. That was awesome. Next year, maybe we can get 2-3 give $15K, and a few at $10K and a few more at $5K. Thenwhe the guy that won the $5000 in cash draw donated it back, I was extremely proud of him. Totally unselfish.
Also, I want to thank the people that put that together. Each and every member of the Howling Pack board deserve a lot of praise. They work hard to do the right thing and promote Coyote sports. Thanks to that board. Also, Jon Schemmel, Chros Kassin, and Erica Schilling. What a fantastic job of promoting this event. Selling out weeks ahead of time.....wow. Great job. Then a shout out to Herbster and Wiliams. Those two are really providing string leadership at a time we need it most. Great job guys. And the last shout out to Bruce Brock, the auctioneer. He and his crew do a fantastic job....so much better than it used to be. And also very entertaining. Thanks to that crew as well.
Fans, let's ride the wave of momentum I think we established last night. Being generous with $, time, and talent now need to become a natural thing and not fretting over small stuff. I am super impressed. Thanks to the whole crew that not only put this event together, but those that supported it all the way. What a great job. I can't say it enough.
Here's my pitch...."get some season tickets for all sports ordered now. Right now while the fire is burning. And let's get our friends to join us. Last night was the perfect event for us to spring board off of.
Last night is exactly why I love USD

I think one other thing that all of us need to do is a better job of supporting those businesses that support Coyote athletics. It's great to see businesses owned by alums (or those in decision making postions) give back, but those businesses that support functions like this that really have no connection to the University are the ones that people need to support with their purchasing dollars. If we did this and told the business the reason we are supporting them is due to their support of University athletics, they may become an even better supporter or we may pick up new supporters. The event was great and it was fantastic seeing new faces. Yoteforever hit the nail on the head...now we need to get those new faces in the stands with season tickets.

I agree with supporting businesses owned by coyote alum. If there was a list on here or USD's website I would absolutely choose to do business with them over anyone else. I konw very few of those people off the top of my head so I'm not a lot of help, but it would be interesting if someone did put a list together on here or even on the usd.edu site. not sure how that would work on the edu website but here would certainly be easy enough.

I would think they could have Learfield put together a list and have on the goyotes.com website someplace. I don't have a book from the auction, so I don't want to try and remember all the sponsors from that and forget someone. If anybody does have a book from the event, can they list the sponors?
