The Yotes go into this home game against Omaha as both heavy favorites and the owners of a two game Summit League lead. Let's stay undefeated at home and get one step closer to that Summit League title!

I feel as if this game will be of little problem. The Yotes beat Omaha fairly easily on the road and they definately play better at home. This will be a really nice game for a one game week. It's almost like a bye week for the Yotes with very little chance to pick up a loss.
South Dakota will win 92-64

Not having Tia could add some unwanted drama, but Jackson, Hoff, and Stewart all have the ability to pick up the slack and help out Contreras in Tia's absence. We all know by now there are no easy or gimme wins in this League. State got beat at Denver last night and NDSU lost on the road to an ORU team that has been slowly moving up the standings. Hoping to see a complete effort by USD tonight against an Omaha team that will be trying to make a statement.

44-34 at half for the Coyotes. So many of these teams that play the Coyotes in Vermillion just can't keep up when it becomes an offensive oriented game. The Coyotes are just so good on the offensive end of the floor. The Yotes really flexed their muscle towards the end of the half.

62-47 Coyotes 12:56 to go. Love watching this team play. They make things look easy at times. Either it's a wide open layup or a wide open three it seems and the Yotes make their share of them. As far as the younger players are concerned I really like Livringhouse's game. She will be around for awhile.

The Coyotes are such a good rebounding team on both ends of the floor. They are really hitting the offensive glass tonight. 74-61 with 5:20 to go.

83-69 The Coyotes win. The Yotes could never put Omaha away but they simply ran out of time.

Thanks to a late rally in the last minute the Coyote men get a comeback win and seal the Mavericks fate for the night. The sweep is on for the Men and Women.
For the ladies they just couldn't put away the Mavs tonight. They showed signs a couple of times of blowing them out but just couldn't shake them. Eventhough it was a closer game than I wanted I still came away impressed with the Yotes overall. I don't think Omaha can play much better than they did tonight.

Really not the effort I wanted to see, though this team is talented enough to have an off night and still beat conference opponents by double digits. This one puts us over last year's win total with 4 regular season games to go, and an optimistic minimum of 4 postseason games left. Ladies are having a fantastic season so far!
Two tough road games next week, but a win in either of them will have me feeling very confident that the regular season title is ours.

Amy dodged question of Tia Hemiler's injury. Just says that it's a leg injury and that they are hoping to get her back.

I'm concerned that the injury may be a fairly serious one. Why else would coach Williams not come right out and say that they expect she'll miss X games?
