IUPUI gets the win after two regular season losses to the Leathernecks. This is the first lower seed to win in the tourney. Maybe this will be the day of the lower seeds. It really is just a matter of preference for the Yotes who they would rather play. It comes down to matchups. The Yotes handled IUPUI better at home than they did Western Illinois but earlier in the year the Jaguars handed the Yotes a 25 point loss. Luckily they aren't nearly the team on the road as they are at home. I think the Leathernecks are probably better suited in the neutral court environment of Sioux Falls. I know the Jags have alot of good players but glad not to have to face Ashley Luke again and all their good three point shooters.

Let's do this today ladies! I'm hoping for a big afternoon from the seniors to keep their season alive. I'm predicting a big day from Raeshel as she was relatively quiet on Saturday.

South Dakota State controlled the game down the stretch and it's State vs U tomorrow for the title. I don't think either team won with the type of margins expected from the first two rounds. Both teams are good and both teams have vulnerabilities. It should be a good one.
