Today was the last straw for me--no mention of the game anywhere in today's Sioux City Journal. I was amazed they had nothing about the USD-Nebraska game...and am equally shocked they couldn't find room for anything about the Wyoming game.

But Chuck, wasn't there Morningside basketball! Yeah exactly, the SCJ just ignores USD when it comes to basketball. The football coverage actually got a bit better, but you can't just ignore basketball too. This is why they need a change of attitude there.

There has been articles on all of USD's games in the print version. That said, it IS an Iowa newspaper, not sure what you expect.

Well, when they cover USD's football games in person, why can't they cover the bball games too? Yes, they are an Iowa paper, but they are on the border of Neb. and S.D. too, and it's not like like the borders are that far either honestly.

Jackl: I double checked my paper today and didn't see anything. Yes...it is an Iowa paper, but markets to the Tristate region. In addition, many NW Iowans attend USD...meaning there are ultimately quite a few alums and family members of students in the SC area.

There's a story on the Men's win and right below it is a story on the womens win over Santa Clara ( a day late obviously). The mens headline is: " Krogman shoots USD past Wyoming".

Well, glad to hear it Jakl. I am betting we get different editions, then. It would be nice if it was in both editions, but one is better than none.

The Argus has a late and early addition, so the Journal probably does too. I know my parents version of the Argus is different than what we get in Sioux Falls.

The Journal has two print edition, a Metro edition (focused on Sioux City stories) and a Siouxland edition (focused on regional stories).
