Seems like Amber Hegge's injury is a fractured elbow and she is week-to-week. Yikes, that definitely doesn't sound good at all> I will say I am not expecting her back for a while. She has already used a redshirt, so it would suck to lose a year of eligibility out of her.
Plus McKayla Knudson is out indefinitely because of a knee injury. She tore her ACL during her senior year and redshirted last year to help get it back to 100 percent. She had a lot of promise to it seemed. Yikes.

Wow the 1st half of the women's game tonight was not very pretty. Didn't play very well and looked like they weren't too excited to be there. I would have liked to been in the locker room to hear what Williams had to say. Second half they played with much more intensity and shot alot better. You can tell they really need some time to gel a little more. Not a bad 2nd half though.

Yeah, the first half wasn't great either, but I will give them a pass with the second half that the team played. After playing a lot bigger schools, the team probably slacked off a bit or something, sort of like the men did against SD Mines.
The team does need some gel time yet, but I am liking the Robertson-Boss inside combo A LOT!

Sounds like Hegge plans to play tonight against Santa Clara. She was out with a fractured elbow.
