Actually everything he said is spot on.
YodaYote, once your son gets a little meat on his bones, he's going to have a fantastic career for the Coyotes. Welcome aboard. You're going to love it. Most Coyote fans are positive, yet realistic. This class of recruits is awesome. Enjoy your time.

Yodayote, CoyoteFan is not a typical USD fan. Every fan base has a guy like him on their message boards, just a pure troll. Sure, he is very active in posting here, but I wouldn't consider him an active USD supporter or even a hardcore fan, though he thinks he is. Hardcore fans show up at games. That's not the CF M.O. He'll watch or listen from wherever, then show up here to post play by play game updates in a thread all by himself then make a statement like "there are no USD fans, nobody cares, I'm the only one here". Yeah tool, the rest of us are actually in attendance at the game. My advice, don't read anything he says. He doesn't know what he is talking about and unless a coach is making the playoffs and winning tournament games he wants them fired...yesterday. He just said his attendance at basketball games will be "honestly not real often". Obviously CF is not happy about the job Craig Smith is doing thus far, though I can't imagine why. Yeah, it's been rough for football the last couple of seasons, but CF went from praising the Joe Glenn hiring to wanting him fired after year 1. He has no patience and has zero clue what it takes to build a successful program. There are so many false statements here. If you are going to post at least get your facts straight. Really? Is it? Take some time and think about your comments.

Most will agree that you don't provide much in the way of productive comments, CF. That may be putting it kindly.

This line of discourse is worthless and reflects poorly on *all* parties. Please stop.

Thanks for that link. Very well written and I feel very honest assessment. We have a tendency to sell ourselves short, but when you combine all the updates taking place, and those that follow and combine it with a first class education, we can continue to expand our recruiting base. I feel the Jacks have done a great job of doing that, and we need to establish our own base as well. The truth of the matter is it's tougher to compete regionally with NDSU and UNI because for right now the title road runs through Fargo, and longevity goes with UNI. There's absoluteky no reason we can't find our niche, compete and knock off on a regular basis the guys at the top of the heap now. If Florida is fertile ground for recruiting, then let's spend the money to get it done. If our budget is $100,000 now, and $150,000-200,000 would make a huge effort in getting to the top, then let's raise the funds and get it done. On the surface this years class looks really good in comparison. Continue this trend and we will be in our way. Good article Mick. Well done.

"This line of discourse is worthless and reflects poorly on *all* parties. Please stop." Scott Hoy, is that you? =)
I thought Mick's articles were well done. I know back in the Meierkort days on the fan-board we used to catch a lot of grief from bunny posters because we allegedly didn't have many kids from South Dakota and instead were "taking kids from all over the country." I was surprised to see that USD only had 11 while State had 18 kids from at least 800 miles from campus. Its interesting how things ebb and flow over time. While its always great to have local kids when you're looking at your recruiting foot-print, so long as the kid is a good fit for USD, I don't really care if they're from Renmark, Australia (Seekamp) or wherever as long as they can make a difference for Coyote athletics.

I agree that it doesn't really matter to me where a kid is from when it comes to recruiting. The Yotes play on turf so speed is more important and those kids aren't in as much abundance around here as they may be down in Florida.
