Thanks Jay, as always.
Was wondering if we treated this road trip differently than we have in the past few years? I don't know how much time you spend around the team while you're out there, but did we do some things differently than we have on past trips? This seemed like a more poised and ready to play Coyote team than we are used to seeing on the road.

This seemed like a more poised and ready to play Coyote team than we are used to seeing on the road. I did not notice anything different at all in terms of behavior. This is my fourth year following them on the road and I can honestly tell you that the guys have always looked ready to go. So I can't point to a lack of focus as the reason for their struggles. One thing that has changed, at least with these first two road trips, is that they have either not done a much of a walk-thru (K-State) or no walk-thru at all (UC-Davis) at the stadium the day before the game. I think that is, at least in part, due to the later departure times, but that part has been different. |
