Thanks Jay great job as always! Any info off camera about why Ryan's pass/fumble wasn't looked at by replay? Sure looked like a forward pass.

Looking at the video of Western's offense I saw they rely a lot on their big, powerful but somewhat slow RB. Made me wonder what Mr. Potter could do given the same opportunity.

Drew Potter is not as big nor as hard a runner as the kid from Western. Thanks for the comment. Not to be argumentative but from the roster listings I see this: Drew Potter (USD): 6'3" 250 lbs Nikko Watson (Western): 6'0" 250 lbs Drew may not be as hard a runner (not sure how one can judge that) but if your starting FB is not a hard runner, well, then it says something. Anyway, it was just a thought and nothing more.

Potter only carried the ball in one game last year, that being the final game of the season vs SDSU where he picked up 103 yards on 8 carries, which included a long run of 53 yards. So far this year he has zero carries.

Maybe it's because Watson is shorter that he looks stockier? And we got to see Drew run last year, he looked nothing like what Jay showed of the Watson kid on this weeks episode.

So far this year he has zero carries. How many of those carriers were in the second half. There was a clear difference in motivation of the SDSU players in the second half compared to the first. If I recall that game was well in hand at halftime and most of the second half was just playing out the string. SDSU was like the streamroller over the Yotes in that game. They basically could have named the score.
