What a great job by our ladies today as they rolled The Shockers. Coach Williams has them playing good ball. Keep up the good work ladies.

This one definitely was a defensive battle. USD only shot 40 percent, but put up 36 in the second half, which was a bit encouraging.
As yoteforever said, Williams has this team playing pretty well. I have really liked Williams since he was at Wayne State. He is definitely the coach to lead this team.
USD held Witchita State to 36 percent shooting, forced 18 turnovers, 20 of which led to USD points.
Jodie Boss was a beast defensively, again. She had 7 blocks, tying a single-game mark that SHE set earlier this year. She is on pace for 120 blocks on the season. The single-season high 56 I think, so she should be ready to crush that by mid-season.
USD's next game is Tuesday against Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. USD got thumped by the Panthers last year, who were actually a pretty good mid-major last year if I remember correctly.
