I caught your humor coyote70 and appreciated it. Never fancied myself as the grammar police, but jacksfan29's posts are consistently painful to read. As previously stated, it is too early in the season for rankings to matter much. Every competitor needs a rabbit to chase throughout the season so it might as well be the Jacks for now.

Pardon me jd, you didn't get my attempt at humor in jacksfan29's post: "SDSU are" and later in the same post "SDSU were". The wording implies SDSU is a p-l-u-r-a-l (more than one). Guess in the future I shouldn't be so subtle. On second thought the whole USD/USD thing could be just as confusing to some (we won't go down that road). A prior poster claimed USD had the best rank of any Summit team. It occurred to me that two of you couldn't read.

On Saturday afternoon, probably before the Old Dominion result was calculated USD was a few slots higher than SDSU. When it comes to reading I think some other people need to read. I said Saturday afternoon specifically in my post because those things obviously change. It's funny how people react to things. It was a simple fact at the time and nothing else. I should have figured that SDSU fans would have a total meltdown regarding a simple fact. When it comes to women's basketball SDSU fans get so defensive regarding their team as if they are U-Conn's level. SDSU is a mid major program at roughly the same level as USD. They are obviously a good mid major program but a mid major program at that with one total NCAA win which is a good accomplishment considering they haven't been at the D1 level for a long time.

You got your "simple fact" from a website that is way off on their rankings. You probably chose the RealTimeRPI website because that is the only one that USD is higher than SDSU in. If you look at the rest of the ranking on RealTimeRPI, they are way off base. All I am pointing out is that the Saragin RPI rankings are the most accurate until the NCAA.com website releases their rankings on a weekly basis (I don't know when they start). Why are you even looking at RPI's right now? The season just began. SDSU has to be getting pretty close to UCONN's level, I mean the Jacks only lost by 7 to #6 Maryland and 11 to #3 Notre Dame.

Who really gives a crap. Who's better will be decided on the floor. Probably 3 times. May the best team win
