USD had a 19-6 run to close out the game to seal the 69-57 victory for the Coyotes against Northern Arizona.
The key point is Hegge didn't play much or contribute much because she was feeling under the weather. However, Yackley had her best game of her career with 19 points, and it wasn't all from downtown. She went 10-11 from the free throw line.
Jodie Boss was a beast down-low once again with a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Freshman Katelyn Edwards had her best game of her career with 10 points and hit her first three-pointer of her career.
As a team, USD shot 22 of 26 from the free throw line. Impressive showing after a tough road loss to Northern Iowa.

Good win for the ladies. Northern Arizona beat NDSU who beat SDSU. Of course, you know what that means, don't you? USD beat Northern Arizona.

I had no idea Amber Hegge's asthma limited her during the Nortern AZ game. You have to wonder how much Amber will be able to play in the Colorado State game on Monday. Her asthma is really aggravated in games at higher elevation locations.

I had no idea Amber Hegge's asthma limited her during the Nortern AZ game. You have to wonder how much Amber will be able to play in the Colorado State game on Monday. Her asthma is really aggravated in games at higher elevation locations. We played in Greeley earlier this year and had no problem. The ladies also played in Utah TWICE last year, which is higher elevation than Fort Collins and had no problem. It comes and goes from what I have been able to see. She is as tough as it gets and if she can play, SHE WILL PLAY!!! RJ
