Might as well have been Tabor High School. USD wins 122-71. Cupcake City, baby.
We have a rematch with Loyola next week and also host Eastern Washington. I'm particularly interested in the Loyola game. Do the students go on break this Friday? I'm just thinking ahead to the potentially small crowds.

Nice win for the Yotes. I understand that Tabor is not quite as competitive as some of the other schools that we play, but a few of the Coyotes weakness' were noticeable in this game. I've been a long time supporter of sports in the tri -state region. I've seen alot of kids progress in their respective programs over the years. With this being said I'm going to go out on a limb and give a few of my thoughts. This Coyote team is very young and talented(as well as some other area teams). The current Coyote team possess' the most potential of any of the other teams in the area. Tecker and Gruis have shown me exactly the competitiveness and drive to win that all of my sources from the North stated they would have. Others have stated on this forum that their impact would not be that impressive. Upon seeing these two play I think that the up side potential is very promising and will stick with my sources opinions. Andreotti and Westbrook have excellent athletic abilities. These two are a great complement to the existing Coyote squad. Boots, Krogman and Thomas' shooting ability is becoming more consistant with every game they play. Cutler is finding his spot on the team and complements them all. Harnessing all of this talent on this team will be the key to a successful season. This maybe easier said than done. Part of the team is very competitive and driven to win and the other part is complacent. In my humble opinion these players need to have more confidence in each other. Each of their individual talents are a very important link to a very successful team. When these players gain this confidence and play an inside and outside game they will become the most competitive team in the area.
