7 p.m. EWU is 3-7, and I believe two of those wins are against NAIA schools. EWU's last outing was a 30-point loss to Nebraska. This is a game we should win.
I'm headed down to Wednesday's game against LMU, but I can't make it tonight. I'll be recording on Midco.

Yeah, unfortunately I won't be able to be at all of this game either. I will be there just after the first media timeout then I have to jet and take photos at the Vermillion girls basketball game, leave there at 8, come back to the Dome and download all of the photos for the P&D. Plus I need to write a news story before it all as well haha.
Hopefully this should be an easy win for USD. Trevor Gruis won GWC Player of the Week as well.

Gruis is a stud, and he will only get better. He looked really good last night. The guy has great touch.
Looks like we might be without Cutler for Wednesday's game against Loyola Marymount. He took a shot to the face and may have suffered a concussion.
Am I wrong on this, but does anyone else find it odd that Jake Thomas took over at point guard after Cutler went down? From my observations, it seems Louie handles the ball just as well (maybe better) and is considerably quicker.

Some one will need to step up at point guard if Kendall is out. Cliff Warner has left the team so it will be point guard by committee until Kendal can go.

Good win for the coyotes. Pretty well balanced attack, the 3-pt shooting was a little cold at times but it seemed the inside game filled in nicely in those times. Hopefully they will continue to develop a strong presence inside to complement the outside game. Has anyone else noticed the fact that the coyote's are starting to use the "give and go" style making for some nice assist and points? There was a few passes missed on these types of plays, but as time goes on they will only get better at this which makes for a great game to watch. Gruis had another impressive game and showed some signs of the ability to pass the ball as well as score and rebound. Krogman was a little cold but still handles to ball well and seams to score when needed. Thomas came together good in the second half (although I wished his shot selection was a little better). Hopefully Cutler is able to play Wednesday. The coyotes need to come to the game with a desire to win on Wednesday or they wont have a chance.

Trevor Gruis was once again a stud, and Steve Tecker was key in the first half for the Coyotes. Rico is also playing solid down low all year. Jake Thomas and Louie Krogman have been on and off all year. I am glad Gruis is playing well because that means USD doesn't have to jack up a ton of threes.
Not having Kendall worries me a bit in the short term. Culter is a guy who is great at distributing the ball, slashing and dishing it off or creating a very nice lay-up. USD doesn't have another player who can do that. Louie and Jake are definitely scorers than passers, which is what you want out of shooting guards. But I think they both can do an okay job as the fill-ins.

Gruis is a stud. He keeps getting better and better. Rico didn't impress me much at Nebraska but has gotten better and better as well. He is playing well too.
Louie is a great point guard. He can dish the ball around with the best of them.
