As an Alumni, I am used to the normal dominance of the defense. At times this year we did see that. With coach morrel gone what will the defense look like....
Who will be returning on the defense to play DB? Will thompson be healthy
LB? Is broders going to be healthy.
DL?
The main concern IMO was the D-Line this year...The often got out physicalled and didnt have the strength to compete. I looked up the stats in the Lamar game and they had 2 sacks each by Weisbrod and Giese..... Dont they play the same position? I just want to know the outlook for next year especially the D-Line.. Will Eaton, Capper, and Weisbrod be the returning starters or will we bring in JUCOs or will Giese or Bazemore start?

Without regards to who starts, it is imperative that USD's defensive line make a wholesale change next year in terms of how they play. Last years team was not physical whatsoever. The Coyotes have to learn to dominate the front, and that allows our D-backs, with their speed, to start making big plays in passing situations.
I am sorry that Coach Morrell is leaving, but I have to think their are better coaches and motivators out there that can get this job done. I sure hope so.

Happy Birthday Yotefan50. Welcome to the board. Please don't forget to join the Howling Pack As far as your questions, Ed usually has a coaches corner meeting in Sioux Falls before the season starts, and he passes out a depth chart. This may be in conjunction with the Spring Red White Game, can't remember.
