www.argusleader.com/story/blogs/mattzimmer/2016/07/12/zims-missouri-valley-football-preseason-ballot/86986060/The poll is not out yet but Matt Zimmer made his picks public. Projected Standings North Dakota State Northern Iowa Illinois State South Dakota State Youngstown State Indiana State South Dakota Southern Illinois Western Illinois Missouri State I think Zimmer did a real nice job with this ranking. He gave some respect to USD considering where they have been recently. He gave the Coyotes some benefit of the doubt with the new coaching staff but also looked at the change as likely a good thing for the Yotes. When it comes to the Jacks they almost never finish lower than 4th or 5th so he actually is relatively conservative with their placing. Hard to disagree with the top 4 and he chose probably the safest #5. I wouldn't be surprised if SDSU cracked the top 3. I would have dropped Indiana State down a couple and moved The Yotes and Saluki's up one spot each. I am impressed that he dropped the Leathernecks all the way down to 9th. I have the same exact feel about them this year. In the prediction thread everyone seemed to want to pick the Necks to win in Vermillion but that is a game that I think the Yotes take them to the wood shed.

I thought Tyson Graham Jr. was more deserving of an all-conference at safety than Warner. Warner is good, but Graham might be the best defender this season.
