I thought we were limited to 30? Does this mean some have de-committed? Plus they are still waiting on Sims to decide next week.
I guess I thought there was a limit of 30 recruits, but must be 30 scholarships and anyone else is PWO.

Since I am not sure who is a PWO I have not specified on the commit list. If anyone has that knowledge let me know and I can update. |

We will know all of the answers relating to scholarship vs. PWO on February 1. Absent a direct comment from a commit, everything is just speculation. |

Another thing to keep in mind and prepare yourself for - SO DON'T FREAK OUT WHEN IT HAPPENS. The ultimate rule is 63 full scholarships spread out over a maximum of 85 players. This will be two seasons in a row of taking 30 scholarships (not to mention the transfers the team took on leading up to the 2016 season). Whether they left already, leave after spring ball, or during the summer, THERE WILL BE PLAYERS THAT LEAVE THE PROGRAM. Don't read too much into it. Our staff is reshaping the roster and working to raise the talent level at EVERY position. This is what big boy programs do. When somebody's friend's brother's neighbor's son leaves the team and complains about the coaches not catering to his every need and/or telling him he isn't a fit for this team, don't make a big stink over it and suggest the world is coming to an end. It happens EVERY year at EVERY program. If we want to win, this is part of the "process." Trust it.

1) 30 is the scholly limit per year
2) Usually 85 kids will be on scholly, but FCS only has 63 *FULL* schollys so they are divided into 85, however the coaches deem best.
3) Roster size is 95, meaning the limit to attend fall camp. So 10 non-scholly kids can participate in fall camp.
4) Any player not on the 95 man roster can join the team when school starts, which limits the possibility for a non-scholly kid to break into the lineup.
Now- looking at the last 2 recruiting seasons
1) Last year hit the 30max and this year will hit max so 30+30-95, which means the majority of the 60 will be RS Frosh and Frosh.
2) Kids that scholly is not renewed likely transfer, expect around 20 to leave the program
*Keep seeing PWO, however alot of those kids are likely just walkons
1)Preferred walkon is a kid not on scholly, but is on the 95 man roster
2)This could change at anytime, there is no guarantee
