It is Coker!! Not good at posting, but @crkfootball is tweeting it out! Boom. Nice call CE! As our coaching staff steps up the level of recruiting, it appears we (as members of this board) need to step up our game of analyzing, predicting, and guessing what is going on as well!

You guys are doing a tremendous job. The football recruiting threads are some of the largest and most informative.

Coker is from Cedar Rapids Kennedy. For my money, that's a good omen. A teammate of mine way back when was from C.R. Kennedy, and he was a 2 time All-American, Hall of Fame member, and a late round draft pick of the Miami Dolphins......Ben Long.

Of our 25 commits, three are PWO. Leighton is one, I assume Long is another and I am not sure on the 3rd. Is Gibbs? Anyway, the point is it is OVER A MONTH until signing day and we only have 3 scholarship spots left. 3!
I expect those spots to be filled with some athletes. Maybe one more RB, but generally speaking athletes. Playmakers.
It will be fun to see who our staff deems worthy to get the last 3 spots.
I cannot express how impressed I am with the professional and systematic approach to recruiting this staff has taken. Two years ago I am not sure that we had 10 commits be this point...

I figured there are a few PWO but haven't listed them. I doubt Gibbs is a PWO as he flipped from a PWO at Ndsu to USD with a full offer.
I concur on this staff blowing the previous classes away at least on paper. We shall see if they contribute, but I am optimistic.

Forgive me for asking, but is there a limit of scholarships that can be given? Or do you just know how many scholarships they have available? Isn't there a limit of 30 you can recruit each year? Assume transfers affect total scholarships but not per year limit. Assume not everyone gets a full ride, so two guys could each get 50% and that equals 1 scholarship. Add in COA and it helps the athlete.
Believe the story with Gibbs was he flipped due to full offer at USD.

30 total per year, but there are means of flexibility. COA coverage follows the scholarship coverage %.
63 total over 85 players.
I may have been mistaken saying 25 (implying 3 were PWO), but I am fairly certain on only having 3 open spots left.
