Thanks admin yotemeal for adding to the forum. I plan on posting recent news, events and general discussion regarding the howling pack.
More info to come on changes to the HP. You will see an increase in benefits and other reasons to join this year.
While I can't guarantee anything is there something people would like to see?

If one joins the HP how long does their membership run? I usually get my season tix (football) and pay my HP membership at the Spring Game. So am I an HP member for one year from that date or has it run out now? Simply, by upping my membership in April is it good for the whole 2010-2011 academic year?

Yote 53 I'll try and explain this as best I can. Your donation and benefits run on a calendar year basis. So if you donate in April 2011, then you have benefits for the 2011 football and 2011-2012 basketball season - which starts before the end of 2011. As long as you were a member in the prior year, you won't be cut off January 2nd because you didn't donated on the 1st. For purposes of receiving the main benefits, ie tickets to football and bb games, you will need to make the donation typically prior to a certain date. Most donations come during the spring when we have our fund drive. Are there some people who donate, for tax purposes, in December, yes. But most people donated during the spring/summer months to take advantage of priority seating at football games. Also, there are/will be certain cut off dates for certain benefits. For example, to get football season tickets in the priority sections you will need to be a member before August. To be eligible for post season priority tickets (when we are eligible) they will likely have a cut off date. Those types of things are common. On the basketball side, you would have to be a member prior to a certain date to be eligible for Summit league tournament tickets. Something like that. But if you become a member in the Spring, when most do, then you are good for the next football and basketball seasons. In reality, for the most part, benefits are used during August to March - during FB and BB season. So Yote 53, if you donated last year in April your membership expires at the end of this basketball season and you would need to renew prior to football, which I know you will do to get your football season tickets.
