Holy smokes - have you seen John Konchar's stats? His shooting % has dropped to 66.7% in conference. DROPPED. 80% from 3pointers. And he is only the team's 3rd leading scorer.

Flack and Jech both still out? Flack is out for a few weeks... Jech isn't hurt, he just isn't in the rotation

Better question would be if Sparks is available.

Flack and Jech both still out? Flack is out for a few weeks... Jech isn't hurt, he just isn't in the rotation With the emergence of Hagedorn I wouldn't expect to see Jech much in the near future at all on the floor. It will be Flack, Hagedorn and Sparks taking the big man minutes and the Coyotes will probably run with 3 guards most of the time anyway. For all the good stories with players emerging I am affraid to say it but for every game that goes by Jech has bust written over him more and more. I was so high on him coming from high school but he just hasn't produced and I don't think he is much better than when he played his first few games as a freshman. I certainly expect much more by now. Maybe he will break out some day but his chances will probably be limited to prove himself. It's crunch time for Dan for sure.

Jech is only a Soph. Don't be so quick to write him off. He had some good minutes last year. Many players take a few years to reach their potential. He will be a contributor this year and years to come. Smith seems to ride the "hot hand" at the PF/C position. Hagedorn hardly played and now looks to be the starter.

I think Mooney is one tough kid. I like him, not only as a player but just the grit he seems to have. I love tough athletes that will play through pain.
I'm also hoping he's ok, but I remember from years ago, anytime the ankle is "shocked" it's usually a week minimum before you are 100%. But having him at 75% is better than the alternative. We need Sparks to be ready if for no reason other than to spell Hagedorn.
Go Yotes.....huge game today

Agreed on Mooney's toughness. I really like his poise too for being just a sophomore.
I think this game is going to be tougher than the NDSU game. I don't see us matching up as favorably against IPFW, not without Flack at least. Don't dig ourselves into a hole again and we have a chance.
Win today and it's 2nd place for the Yotes.

This should be an excellent basketball game. This will be all about energy and hustle today. This is a coin flip type game. I think the Yotes will begin to start to win the close conference games but I think it will take one more hard lesson before that will happen. Fort Wayne with a late three to win 80-77. Hope to be VERY VERY wrong with that one. Can't wait for the game this afternoon.
1PM tip.

Sparks got the start, but Hagedorn was in early at 16:40. TBM has 2 fouls already. Yotes are playing good D forcing contested shots. Mooney made a tough fading 3 and might be feeling it today. 9-3 Yotes
