The last matchup was a closer game than expected, and now we are in their house.
I think the Lady Coyotes have been playing much better in every aspect of the game, and have too many advantages over the Pioneers to lose this game. The only question is will they dominate them like Ft. Wayne and NDSU (the second time), or play sloppy and let them keep it close.
After the loss to WIU, I think they will be focused and methodically take the Pioneers apart. Denver shoots the 3 moderately well, but I see a wide margin of victory here.
Coyotes win 90-60.

I also think it will be a tough one with a weekday game after a long trip. I think the Coyotes will win 73-63 but it won't be pretty. Hopefully they will do what they did at ORU last time they played a mid week road game and blow out Denver by 20 or more.

I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure either IUPUI or IPFW offers free streams for all basketball games. That's it though. Wish the conference would do something to get everyone on board with this.

The Coyotes were up 20-7 at one point and let Denver get pretty close before pulling away a bit at half. I like the 22 number as a halftime score for Denver. If the Coyotes can hold Denver to under 50 it will almost certainly be a win and will probably still be a win if Denver doesn't reach 60.

53-44 Final in favor of the Coyotes. It was an ugly one but who cares. It wasn't pretty against Denver this year in both games but 2-0 is all that matters. So now the Coyotes are going to Frost in a game that would put the Coyotes in a sweet position with a win. After SDSU it is Fort Wayne on the road and two more at home. Other than the SDSU game there isn't a game that the Coyotes won't be heavily favored in until the last two road games at IUPUI and Western Illinois. So if the Coyotes win in Brookings it's basically going to come down to just splitting the last two and the Coyotes would lock up the #1 seed. Obviously the problem is the win at Frost. Lose that game and the Coyotes would probably need to run the table and hope for one SDSU stumble along the way. They also have to play at IUPUI and Western Illinois.
Bottom line is that a win is a win is a win and that is what happened in the Mile High City.

Coach Plitzuweit is very happy with the win today. She was very impressed with the team defense. Obviously the offense was off but anytime the defense shows up a team always has a chance and can withstand a poor offensive performance.

Even if the O is off, D can win the game. WBB has done it a couple times this year. |

Great tough road win Lady Yotes keyed by GREAT D (held Denver to 11 pts each Q) and GREAT FT shooting (93% 15 of 16)!!! Was anyone at the game or stream it? Just curious if we were getting good looks on O or not? Listened to game and obviously we struggled after 1Q on O which is unusual.
