Yesterday the Howling Pack hosted the 3rd annual golf tournament at the course in Vermillion. There were approximately 125 golfers that attended the event. I'm not sure how much money was raised but everyone had a great time. As usual, The Bluffs did a great job hosting. For years, former Coyote football player ran the event, and now Rusty Jensen, father of current player Nick runs the show. Always extremely well organized, and yesterday was no exception.
Two things of relevance, and the reason I'm posting this. First, if you ever want to meet the coaches and many players of our respective teams, this is a fantastic event to do so. Every program was represented by coaches, and most with student athletes. When you get to visit with these people, you will see first hand just how classy the coaches are, and how good of young men and women our athletes are. Awesome people.
Secondly, this tournament was a reminder for all of us to join the Howling Pack and support these fine people. You'll be proud I assure you.
Cousin Eddie, great seeing you there. You're the best.
