I'd love to hear from you why you think your assistant coach disparaging other teams (Indiana State) and players (Streveler) on social media is classy or professional in any way shape or form. If the shoe were on the other foot (a USD assistant coach disparaging an all-conference Jacks player that just won an award) you know damn well there would be all kinds of hell raised and crying by Jacks posters. By all means, try to justify it. |

I like Zimmer. He's very complimenting of other teams/players Disclaimer: I never read Argus pieces, I just get what's posted here. Zimmer doesn't seem like an obnoxious homer. He voted Streveler for MVP after all. He often panders to the insecure fanbase but I often find him to be fair. |

Just curious - are we expecting any other all-conference players on offense? Van Roekel is my other guy on offense, but I'm skeptical he gets honored. Maybe Jensen? I don't really know. Streveler has plenty of support. No question. They might not all be 1st team MVFC, but he has a great supporting cast. Great blockers, great hands, and backs who hold their own. It's great that we have a superstar but a cohesive offensive like we have is more important than more all-conference honors. |

Maybe Shamar gets an honorable mention. I could see that, otherwise the stats are too spread out.

I think the team is full of honorable mention caliber performers and some players if they had not been injured and/or were in a system that they received the majority of balls thrown their way may be 2nd team.
My predictions
1st team selections
Darin Greenfield & Chris Streveler
2nd team selection
Nick Jensen
Shamar Jackson
Honorable Mention
Josh Hale
Mason Scheidegger
Tyler Ciurej
* Brandt Van Roekel (could easily be a 2nd team all-MVFC pick)
Nathan Schultz
Andrew Gray

Great insight, thanks for the list! I'm wondering if our long-snapper gets listed or even if that position is eligible for mention. He played very well in my opinion, for the time I saw him.

Great call - he should be a selection. Also Andrew Gray could easily be a 2nd team selection at safety, but there is some stiff competition at that spot in the MVFC. |

I don't think they officially honor that position. I'd guess a few guys threw perfect games this year, so it wouldn't be fair to decide one deserves top honor over the others. |
