Mandy Green has just announced her 2011 recruiting class! From the looks of it a very impressive class.
Vermillion, S.D. –- South Dakota women’s soccer head coach Mandy Green has announced the Coyotes’ 2011 recruiting class. The 19-member group features student-athletes from seven different states.
“We spent a lot of time on the road this last summer watching games, communicating with student athletes about what we think this program could be, and getting them to campus so they could see how they would fit in,” Green said. “Our hard work paid off by getting 19 student-athletes for our 2011 roster. Obviously bringing so many players in for one class is not typical but we needed to create more competition for playing time and add more depth to our roster. We are excited to see how this young group will rise to the occasion of building USD into a competitive D1 program. I am confident that this class will come in and add speed, athleticism, competitiveness, and bring in attitudes and unique qualities that will help this program reach a new level of success.”
