This was not even a discussion 1 year ago but the improvement he has made has put him at least on the outer edges of the NFL radar. People will probably pick apart the reason that his passing will never be good enough for the NFL but he has really been accurate with no interceptions and hasn't even been close to being intercepted all that often. Considering the type of offense the Coyotes run that is saying a lot. He is becoming more cerebral at the position which is obviously needed in the NFL.
IMO Chris has the intangibles that can't be taught. He has incredible toughness, leadership and a very high desire to be great and to win. He would be taught to not take hits but he is very durable considering the amount of hits he takes. I am not an expert on whether he has "it" or not but it would not surprise me if at the very least he is given a chance on a roster if not drafted in April/May. If he wants it I believe he will have a future somewhere on a pro team.

He will get a look, but the NFL is looking for more of a pocket passer with pinpoint accuracy. Time will tell.

I was at the Coyote vs Youngstown game, then followed it up by going to the Vikings game in the twin cities this past weekend.
To my untrained eye Streveler looked more accurate and was better in hitting the open receiver than the Vike's Kasey Keenum. Maybe it was because I was about 1/2 mile away in the upper deck, but still I hope this guy gets a long look from an NFL team. Chris is a gem.

Chris is having a very good rookie year in the CFL! He's tied for 4th in the league with 7 rushing TDs with 298 yds. He also has 9 TD passes on 62% passing for 897 yds. Winnipeg is back in the playoff hunt having won their last 3 games.

Chris started yesterday since Winnipeg had clinched a playoff berth. He made the most of the start with 9/15 191 and an 80 TD pass. He also rushed for 76 on 10 carries including 29 yd TD run.
For the regular season he had 11 TD passes and 10 rushing TDs!
Hopefully in the next week or so will be CFL rookie of the year!! Great season Chris!!

Chris helped the Blue Bombers win the Western division semi final 23 to 18 over the weekend against the Roughriders. He rushed 7 times for 41 yds coverting 3 first downs. He was 0/2 passing. He was under center the last 3 minutes because of his running ability when the Bombers killed almost all the clock. Next up is the Western division final Sunday at 230 MST against Calgary.

It would be pretty neat to see Streveler helping his team towards a Grey Cup. Winnipeg split the season series with Calgary and are 5 point underdogs right now. Everyone forget about your NFL schedule on Sunday afternoon, we've got a big one going down on ESPNNews!

Chris had limited playing time today in the Western division final. Had two rushes for 4 yds both conversions for a 1st down. Had 1 pass attempt in the 4th. The RB delayed out of the backfield over the middle about 20 yds downfield and was open but Chris slightly over threw him. Calgary ended up winning 22-14. They limited the Bombers to 156 yds passing and a little over 100 yds rushing.
So overall a very successful rookie year for Chris including 2 playoff games!!

Looks like he’s going to be teammates with Former WIU QB Sean McGuire.
