Just saw a ton of retweets about Kent St from Coach Middleton. I clicked on his profile and it says he is the receivers coach at Kent St now. Anyone know we were losing him? Can't blame the guy... he did an amazing job here and it's FBS football... guessing a decent pay raise as well

From the other day. Smart move for him. Last Glenn holdover. Has to be much better than what he was making at USD. Good for him.

Hate to lose him. He was more than just the wide receivers coach, he was also the recruiting coordinator and did a nice job there as well. Great coach, great guy...he will be missed, but it should be an attractive position with all the talent that's been assembled at that position.

Good for Matt. Our loss is their gain.
One thought is that Matt was a holdover from Joe's staff so I wonder if that somehow played into it. Not in a negative way, just not part of Bobs staff from Western.

Just another coincidence, but the AD at Kent State is our own Joel Nielson from D1 transition days past. The MAC is rich w/ tradition and talent; really hope for Coach Middleton to shine at his new school.
