We've decided to begin looking ahead towards next year. While there are a lot of dominos still left to fall, we thought it would be interesting to unveil periodically each team in the Missouri Valley along with key information for next year.
Hope you enjoy!
****DISCLAIMER. THERE IS LANGUAGE CONSIDERED INAPPROPRIATE WITHIN THE ARTICLE**
Hope that helps

It's never too early to rank Indiana St. to finish last in the MVFC.

I would sincerely appreciate not using such strong language. Your analogies are fair, just a little crude. Not trying to be a prude but there are people of all ages reading this board. Thx

Thx The site is not going to change its language based on linking to this board. It's part of the schtick. I would suggest either eliminating the post/link (less preferred option) or providing a disclaimer about language on this site (preferred option). I appreciate the barstool site, and its contributions to the street cred of Coyote Athletics trash-talking. Neutering them does us no favors IMHO Further, I am father to two elementary age children. If I caught either of them browsing message boards for any purpose that would be a problem for me. Children don't need to chat with strangers online. I do understand keeping the posts here clean, but we don't need to cater links to child-browsers.

I have to agree with kiyoat here. I'm no fan of foul language, but it kind of goes with the territory on all the barstool sites. I think they're set up and run by college kids and there's a lot of back and forth trash talking going on before and after games between and among the sites. Some of its pretty good too. Sadly, it just seems to be the way people express themselves these days from the top on dawn. Things are a lot different from the days of Lenny Bruce* and George Carlin's seven (or however many) words you can't say on television because a lot of them are tossed around casually now.
*probably ages me, but look, or google in today's parlance, him up and learn a bit about censorship in America. This will be on the test.

It's never good to question a member of the board police AKA YF. He likes only things he agrees with when it comes to Coyote Athletics.

My comment wasn't aimed at censorship, it was merely a post to think about language used in them. I have had more than one poster on here send me a message asking me to comment on it. I did just that, but if it doesn't bother people in whole, by all means, post away. In fairness to Barstool it was written within his twitter post. Actually his analogy made me laugh. My previous post wasn't was even remotely close to censor, so if taken that way, I apologize.

Maybe a good solution would for a mod to add a little disclaimer note on the link, like "warning (language)"? I can appreciate that some may not choose to read it based on that, but then they can't say they weren't warned.

Agreed. I'm really not trying to squelch his posts. I personally like them myself. That wasn't the aim of my original post. I just had a few posters ask me to say something so I did. Yote 53 you seem like you have a handle on things like adding a disclaimer, want to handle it? Or I can when I get home.

Vulgarity on the internet will never bother me, but Barstool is too brash for my tastes. I get that it is part of the shtick but it doesn't appeal to me. That being said, Barstool seems like something that appeals to students and likely increases their interest in USD athletics.
