Lots of season left but the Yotes are in the drivers seat for their 3rd conference title in 4 years and the Jacks would be without one for 5 years in their most beloved sport. And this win has to be especially sweet for Kate. She was here for all of those four years, and has only missed one game. Let that one sink in. And she just had a career night.

This was an exceptionally sweet win, but the next game is the most important one. Enjoy the journey and don't get ahead of yourself.

I am still confused tonight. Things just don't seem to add up. Our afterthought of a team somehow finds themselves in first place. How is it that every one of the Jacks starters is better than every one of the Coyote starters. They have the better coach, have the better recruits, have an 8 on 5 advantage on the court, have one of the best home court advantage in all of college basketball. Hmmm, how is it that a team that is so inferior in every way could possible have won the game. It is because hearts are the color red and the biggest ones wear red. That is why they don't play the games on paper and somehow someway the hype meter was broken tonight because there was this team in red that didn't listen to any of it and a team in red that has always been a threat. Gosh some people are really shaking their heads down under the sand tonight.

One bright spot for both the bunny men and women's team was that nobody individually had as many turnovers as Taryn Christion managed against JMU.

Very good win by the Lady Yotes!!! Overall very good D and balanced O! An area for improvement is to watch the film for our fouls--most were not good choices but other than that great effort and teamwork!! Need to continue to take care of business one game at a time!!

Bradley didn't look like she could move. Is there any word on what is actually wrong with her? She looked like she was in pain walking around.

Great job Yotes!
Curious why Mick was so surprised by USD’s WBB performance vs SDSU last night.
USD WBB is 2-1 at Frost the past three seasons
Through yesterday’s game it is interesting to compare SL conference results the last few years. Let’s look at the last four years (including so far this season)
USD WBB 46-9 SDSU WBB 42-12
Now of course we all know SDSU has done better at the SL tournament - with the exception of last year when they were beaten early in the tournament. And the other exception being when our women shocked them four years ago to make the NCAA tournament. In our defense, it appears the SDSU women make playing our women in the SL tournament their Super Bowl.

The truth can stand on its own, and it always will. I like Mick and his coverage overall, but a couple of strange ones this week, probably an editor involved.

This was such an entertaining game to watch, start to finish. Every girl played their hearts out, and even the SDSU announcers on the TV feed were impressed. It’s too bad, though, that the Refs decided to try to keep the score even in the 4th quarter, which was even noted by these same announcers. Ticky-Tac one way calls... Coach P was laughing on the bench because it was so bad. Great job Yoyes!

Just a quick check of the recent RPI ratings on NCAA site Bunnyettes 35 (previously 30) Lady Yotes 83 (previously 94) Even if we go undefeated the rest of the summit league and then lose in the SL tournament, would we have a shot at an at-large? The loss against SFA without Duffy (by 20+) and the Tulsa loss are killers right now. Outside of that, our only three losses would be two a big 12 team and 2 top 25 teams.
